Hello,
Greetings of the day!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, it is possible to require users to log in before making a purchase. This can be achieved by enabling the option that restricts guest checkout, ensuring that only registered and logged-in users are able to place orders.
To enable this feature, please follow these steps:
1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Settings.
2. Click on the Accounts & Privacy tab.
3. Under the “Guest checkout” section, uncheck the option that says “Allow customers to place orders without an account.”
4. Optionally, you can also enable “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” to make the process easier for new users.
Once this is configured, customers will be required to log in or create an account before completing their purchase.
If you need any further assistance, please feel free to let us know. We are always here to help.
Best Regards,

Hi,
I can’t provide a video. Because how am I supposed to show an email not coming??
With regards too the issue mentioned, You can test the password reset as a guest. I provided you with a customer login detail so you can further test if needed.
All emails are being sent by wordpress successfully, including password resets by admin.
The only emails that aren’t being sent, is the password reset email from within the xstore my account.
To test this for yourself
1: Go to the website url
2: Click “lost password”
3: Enter the user name Demo_user, or any user for that matter.
4: You will see that it says email has been sent.
5: I can confirm (without you needing to check my inbox) if the email is received, which it will not, which is why I am here.
Screenshots show that the reset password email is enabled, screenshot 2 shows that all emails in the list are also activated, and sending successfully.
I can confirm that password reset email does get sent when submitted my admin, just now when using the xstore my account tabs
Hi @Harish,
Can you please try installing the reCaptcha for WooCommerce on your website?
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/recaptcha-woo/
Please also disable the “Allow customers to place orders without an account” checkbox by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts and Privacy.
You can read more about controlling guest checkout here: https://woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/#accounts-and-privacy-settings.

Hello, Intermarket Guest Amenities,
We have reviewed the issue, and it appears that the error message you are encountering, “Error: Unsupported request – method type: GET,” may be caused by a different problem.
The error could be due to missing permissions on your Instagram account or a mismatch between the Source ID and the authenticated source for the Access Token. Additionally, changes to settings on Instagram or Facebook could also be contributing factors. Below are some potential causes:
– Changes to the admin users of the associated Facebook page
– Password changes for the Instagram or Facebook account
– Modifications to privacy settings on either Instagram or Facebook
– Adjustments to app permissions for Instagram or Facebook
Another possible reason for this issue could be WordPress itself blocking GET requests. To investigate this further, we would require your FTP access details.
Please let us know how you would like to proceed.
Best regards,
8Theme’s Team

Dear @Intermarket Guest Amenities,
We hope this message finds you well. We would like to suggest a couple of options to improve the design of the ‘My Account’ page on your website.
1. You may utilize the default shortcode provided by WooCommerce, which can be found here: https://prnt.sc/pxoMeWktCc9c. This will ensure that the design aligns with standard WooCommerce layouts.
2. Alternatively, if you prefer to continue using the Elementor account widget, we recommend adding the following custom CSS to your ‘My Account’ page to enhance the styling:
body .e-my-account-tabs-horizontal .e-my-account-tab .woocommerce .woocommerce-MyAccount-content {
width: 75%;
padding-top: 0;
}
body .e-my-account-tabs-horizontal .e-my-account-tab .woocommerce .woocommerce-MyAccount-content > div {
padding-top: 0;
}
Please feel free to implement whichever option best suits your needs. Should you require any further assistance or have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Hi,
I am getting an error message in the WP dashboard when trying to add my purchase code for theme updates activation. The error states:
API request call error.
1) Contact your server provider and make sure that OpenSSL system library is 1.0 or higher
2) Make sure that your purshase code is associated with buyer. If you bought theme using guest account create account with the same email that was used during purchase process.
Open SSL system library v1.1.1 is enabled on the server and I have a valid purchase code.
Hope you can help.

Hello, Yuvi,
We appreciate your prompt response.
We are always pleased to assist our customers, but it is important to understand that our assistance is limited to issues directly related to our area of expertise. It is crucial to identify which issues are not related to our theme so that you can promptly find high-quality, specialized support elsewhere.
Although it is not our specialty, we have the following recommendations for you. We hope you find them useful:
1. We suggest installing an additional plugin on your site to check whether it is bots or real people visiting. The system is not complicated – it checks whether there have been any cursor or keyboard movements in the last period, indicating a real person. We cannot recommend a specific one, you will need to search for it (there are definitely free ones). Consider the following – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordfence/
You can also use Google Captcha from the following:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/recaptcha-woo/
https://woocommerce.com/products/google-recaptcha-for-woocommerce/?gclid=CjwKCAjwp8OpBhAFEiwAG7NaEshfFMvoztzidjmTi4aEuaiCpRLsHXtudY5toke6n8x7AuWXLEJReBoCqOoQAvD_BwE
https://woocommerce.com/products/recaptcha-for-woocommerce/
2. Given that you are using Hostinger, you should inquire about the bot protection capabilities they provide and how effective this protection is.
3. To ensure higher quality purchases (from verified customers), you can configure the following in WooCommerce:
3.1/ In the WordPress dashboard, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Account & Privacy.
3.2/ Untick the ‘Enable guest checkout’ boxes (https://prnt.sc/5_pmSYUK1Bhy).
This will force users to create an account when they buy from your WooCommerce store.
4. If you plan to use a CDN, consider the following:

Hello,
I tried the registration available visiting the “My account” page as guest, but there’s an issue with it.
After registration I’m redirected to:
https://psytrance-pro.com/https:/psytrance-pro.com/shop-account/
So there are 2 links one after the other (home page and shop page) and this results in a 404 page.
The settings in woocommerce shows me this:
https://postimg.cc/DS9T3JtS
Should I change something? what’s wrong?
Thanks in advance for the support
Hi
I opted for the drop-down variant in customizer/header builder/account.
The issue is that the drop-down account login form is closing too fast and the guest has no time to chose the login details previously saved in his browser.
This is not happening on the account page. Also, this is not happening when off-canvas account login is selected.
It seems like the drop-down account login form is too small and you have to stop hovering it in order to select saved login details. This action makes the drop-down login menu to close. Then you have to click on the account icon again but that takes you on the account page so you can not login from the drop-down login form directly. Kind of annoying.
Is there a way to make the drop-down account login form to stay open more after you are not hovering it anymore?
Kind regards,
Adi
Dears, almost a week ago I asked a pre-purchase question regarding this matter, @Rose of your Team told me that it can be done:

Hello, @TFS,
According to me:
Standard checkout: (Pros)
Fewer clicks.
Appears to be easier.
Less Time.
One with the steps: (Pros)
Guest Checkout. (Not all customers have time or want to create a customer account in order to check out. )
Layout.
More details.
So now you have the comparison and I hope it will help you in making a decision that which layout you have to use on your site 🙂

Hello Team,
I am using the Subscriptio Plugin for the Subscription-based products. I have enabled the guest checkout and created an account on the guest checkout options.
But When I am trying to checkout with the subscription products it is showing the error like “An account is already registered with us. Please Login” why it is not allowing to purchase without logging in for Subscription-based products.
If Subscription Products in the Cart it is not allowing the guest checkout even with the registered users. For Other Products, it seems fine.
I have attached the Credentials with the Private area.
Subscriptio Plugin Version: 3.0.7
Please guide me.
So it works on homepage but not on a checkout. I have WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy > Guest checkout > Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout enabled
Hey,
I’m selling digital download products and need a customer to register on my site before purchasing (to make sure he receives the product in his Account). I’m using corresponding checkboxes in WooCommerce (do not allow guest orders) but Login/Registration fields don’t show up on Checkout. You still have to click “I’ve already have an account to see the login form, but not as a separate required step before Payment step.
Is there a way to set up the Checkout page so that customers will have to login/register before proceeding to payment?
Hi,
I saw it a few times on this forum… But never solved in public.
I just bought the theme but cannot activate it.
Error:
API request call error.
1) Contact your server provider and make sure that OpenSSL system library is 1.0 or higher
2) Make sure that your purshase code is associated with buyer. If you bought theme using guest account create account with the same email that was used during purchase process.
What I checked
* Open SSL is >1.0 (it is 1.1.1)
* I bought it with an account in envato
What can we do? Thanks for the fast help.
Hi,
WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy > Guest checkout > Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout, Account creation > Allow customers to create an account during checkout
Read more in documentation of WooCommerce plugin.

Hi, is it possible to do somethibng like this with your theme? https://prnt.sc/tjg8p4
It doesnt have to be the same layout but it would be good to have ‘register’ or ‘checkout as guest’ if possible.
At the moment it goes to this page https://prnt.sc/tjg9gu but it doesnt give any options to login if you’re a returning customer with an account .
Maybe there is an option for this somewhere?
Thanks,
Giles
Hello,
WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy > Guest checkout > Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout
Regards
Hello,
If you want just to add the message before the checkout form you can go to Pages > edit Checkout page and add the content before the checkout shortcode. Some options for the checkout page like returning customer, guest checkout you can enable in WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy. If you want to on/off some fields you can use Checkout manager plugin to do this. If you need anything extra then either look for third-party plugin or order additional customization here.

Hello,
I have finally been successful updating to the latest theme version. However when I try to enter the license keys, I receive the errors on both websites:
“API request call error. 1) Contact your server provider and make sure that OpenSSL system library is 1.0 or higher 2) Make sure that your purshase code is associated with buyer. If you bought theme using guest account create account with the same email that was used during purchase process.”
Also since updating versions, it appears the custom colour/styling for the promotofx site top header menu background no longer matches the forsignsinc site? Can you please fix so the blue/yellow appears in it too? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, Olga. Our problem is Yoast SEO Premium has stopped be activated on our site and I can’t get it reactivated. So far, Yoast Support is stumped. Today I gave them a guest admin account and they are investigating further. If you’ve encountered this problem with other Royal users, please point me to the solution that worked for them. I don’t think our theme is the problem, especially after reading your description of Royal’s caching. If Yoast Support does need more from you, I’ll let you know.
