Cant post vía mail – Fatal error in theme

Hello,
I have just updated TheLeader theme and wordpress core and I have tried to make the “post via mail” functionality run but it always send me this error:

POP3 connect: Error [110] [Connection timed out]

Ans the same thing when I try it with Postie pluggin.

I have contacted my hosting support team to know if there is any sort of firewall on 110/995 ports but they have told me that there is not, that it seems to be a coding issue with the theme.

Another thing is that System status stills diplays this:
theleader/woocommerce/checkout/form-pay.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. The core version is 2.4.7,

Could you help me, please?

Please specify how we can replicate the issue with mail and provide us with FTP/wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
