Is it just me that are having problems wit sidebars for archive pages? It seem that they all use the default widget, regardless of what choices are made for the blog for example?
Here is one category that have this problem: http://ekatana.se/category/ekatana/
I also have the same problem on the pages for BuddyPress and BBPress. On BBPress for example the main page look like this: http://ekatana.se/forums/
And all other pages look like this: http://ekatana.se/forums/forum/viktiga-nyheter-2/
Am I missing something in the settings or do I need to kick the archive templates in the groin to resolve this?
Let me know what information you need to investigate 🙂
Hello,
Did you customize Primary Widget Area in Appearance -> Widgets?
Regards,
Robert Hall.
The Primary Widget area has not been customized, it reamin the same.
Please provide us with wp-admin and FTP credentials in Private Content.

Robert Hall.
There. The FTP give you access to the WP-Content folder.

Yes, but I don’t want any sidebar on the Forum, My Pages and other areas. Try to navigate to the forum and you will see it’s set to full width, but as soon as you go to a specific forum the sidebar appear again. It’s always the deafault sidebar which is a bad choice for all those areas…
Hello,
As I see in your admin panel > Settings > bbPress WP Tweaks you’ve selected the default template – page.php for your forum. If you want to remove sidebar you need create your own template without sidebar and select it from the settings.

Eva Kemp.
Yes, that will take care of BBPress.
Do I need to do the same for the other areas, just create new archive pages for them, like Buddypress?
Hello,
Yes, you need create a new template for archive pages or you can edit the current archive.php in wp-content/themes/idstore directory, find the line 42 with the code <?php get_sidebar(); ?>
and comment it or create your own template with your modifications.

Eva Kemp.
I created new pages for BBPress and Buddypress, but I am having problems with the archive page for the blog left.

Not sure why it’s not working…
Hello,
Have you created a new template for archive page? It requires additional customization and is a paid service. If you have needed skills you may try to customize it yourself.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Are you saying that the theme has removed the default blog category pages?
Last time I checked category archive pages was default in WordPress?
Ah, it just go back to primary which is stupid 🙂
I’ll just fix that so it grabs the blog widget if it’s a blog category 🙂
We’re glad you were able to resolve the issue.
Enjoy your work!

Eva Kemp.
