    Hello!

    Which are the recommended image sizes that I should use in Product Image Sizes (woocommerce) settings, for best results?

    I’m having some issues with some image previews in the categories pages, but probably my images are too small and maybe I shout regenerate the thumbnails based on your answer.

    Thank you in advance 🙂

    PS: Before posting this I’ve looked for this in the documentation, I’ve also searched the form, no results 🙁

    Hello,

    The default values for woocommerce settings are:

    Catalog Images: Width(270), Height(370), Hard Crop (uncheck)
    Single Product Image: Width(460), Height(628), (uncheck)
    Product Thumbnails: Width(75), Height(100), Hard Crop (uncheck)

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Ok, let me rephrase this: what are the recommended settings if I want to have in the categories pages the same size for all product previews? Should I check the “hard crop” option for “Catalog Images”? If yes, at what size?

    Right now I have the exact settings you gave me, I have used the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin to regenerate them, but to no effect – the categories page looks like this 🙁

    Thanks again 🙂

    Hello,

    Please add this code into custom.css file:

    img.hide-image {
    height: 370px;
    }

    Here is the tutorial how to create custom.css.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Sorry for another post, but I’d like to also mention that everywhere products previews are shown, the dimensions aren’t the same, even in the “similar products” window in a product page.

    Oh, and if the solution for my problem is simple, please share it here, so me (and others maybe that come across this thread) won’t nag you about it again.

    Thanks again:)

    PS: post above is with admin credentials 😉

    Wow, your answer was quick. However, the solution isn’t working. I’ve manually enered the code you’ve written above in default.custom.css, but with no results.

    Do you also want Cpanel credentials?

    Thanks 🙂

    Nevermind. From your video I’ve found out that you need to rename the default.custom.css file to custom css file.

    Topic solved.

    Thanks for all the help!!! 🙂
