Classico theme slider not displaying in chrome

    Hi there,

    I have problem with the home page not displaying in chrome properly the master slider is not showing up and in social login I have woocomerce icon.

    Hello,

    Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce as well.
    Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/classico/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
    Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!


    (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Hi thank you ,
    I have done that but just need to update woocommerce child theme files …how can I do that, please?

    I get this message in wordpress backend:
    Your theme (Classico Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.

    Also if I’m logout the slider on home page doesn’t show up in google chrome.

    Hello,

    You shouldn’t worry about those notices. They won’t affect your site at all. We edited Woocommerce files in wp-content/themes/classico/woocommerce directory and old version may be written in those files. But, please don’t worry, as the original version is written in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates directory.
    So you can hide this message or you can fix it by editing the files in wp-content/themes/classico/woocommerce directory and change the version to the current Woocommerce version that you’re using.

    As I see you haven’t updated all required plugins. Download the latest versions here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ and upload via FTP to wp-content/plugins directory.

    Hi Eva,

    I did but it didnt overwite in wordpress some how??! ://I did it through out FTP to wp-content/plugins. I have multisite if that has any issue I didn’t know of :// I tried to uplodaded the new versions three times via ftp and still is not changing in wordpress :////

    I think I managed to update all plugins, but still the issue with the slider hasn’t gone, it’s still not displaying on home page in chrome.

    Also I have one more problem, on my account page I have funny icon above RECENT ORDERS … looks like it’s woocommerce icon , how can I get rid of it please.

    You need translate the words in .po file as described in the documentation:

    Thank you I did but I cant find any string to the search module, inside ( type here…) I think its in some code php or something I tried to search for it everywhere in files search.php formsearch.php to change it but could not see it, as it is not in the theme .po file either its just the search module whats seems to be missing in .po theme file…?

    Also want to ask if modal box works in static block, for me it doesnt , looks like it doesnt pop up in footer. Is it possible to have it in footer?

    I don’t see modal box element in your static block, you added only Text blocks.
    Please clarify your issue with more details.

    Hi thank you very much I was fixing the wrong po. file !!!!!://. So sorry !!
    The modal is now in the static block called footer it is the British flag on right.
    I noticed that it only works once on content but not on static block or on top bar.
