Is there an official place in the theme where i can put the tracking ID? Thanks.

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no such feature in the theme. You can add Google Analytics code as described here http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-install-google-analytics-in-wordpress/
