Okay using WordPress 4.5 with The Leader 2.1?

Hello,

You can update WordPress to 4.5 version, but also update Visual Composer plugin https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Before update create a back up.

After updating I am actually having problem with the front page not updating even if it looks like I can when I am logged in to wp-admin. As soon as I visit the homepage being logged out the content is like was before I updated to WordPress 4.5.

Can you please check if the theme is causing this.

I went through some plugins instead and it was the cache plugin I am using that made the problem.
