I cant seem to activate visual composer.
Ive added my Envato user name: kotek001
My API key :
and item purchase code from the licence certificate, but it says invalid licence key

Hello,

Are you entering the license key of the theme or VC plugin?
If you want to update VC to 4.3.2 version you have to buy license yourself or wait for our new theme release where it will be updated to the latest version.

under Settings Visual Composer then Visual Composer Settings

fields are envato user name, api key and Visual Composer License Key

Thank you for clarification.
Could you please specify what license key you’re entering?
Did you buy VC yourself (http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431) or use the plugin implemented in our theme? If you’re using the one from our theme, then you don’t need to fill in the license key. Otherwise you have to buy it via the link I’ve provided.

I too have no idea how to update VC. I just updated my Legenda theme but VC doesn’t update and there is no option offered to update it. I am using the one within the theme. If i visit the VC settings it continues to ask for a VC license key.

Currently we have VC 4.3.1 version. If you wish we can help you to update VC plugin to this version. Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials.

Sorry, but FTP credentials are not correct. Please provide us with the correct ones.
If you have a new version of the Visual Composer then you can update it without our support.

I wish I could update VC but mine came with Legenda. I did not buy the standalone.

To update Visual Composer I need access to /wp-content/plugins on FTP.

Thanks Robert, I don’t mean to be a bug but I was told there was a v4.3.2 but it’s now updated to 4.3.1. Also, I still haven’t received an explanation on why there is no “ADD SECTION” button that was used to add parallax images like the previous versions.

Hello @rsn8,

Currently we have Visual Composer version 4.3.1. We’ve updated it to this version for you. If you want to have the latest one – 4.3.2 – you have to buy the license yourself or wait for the next theme release where VC will be updated in there.

OK. thanks. I already had 4.3.1 installed. I guess I’ll purchase VC as I can not do some of the edits I need to accomplish without them (i.e., static blocks and footers).
