XStore Theme activation failed - by rrwp87

Hello Team,
need your help, please. It is not possible to activate the theme. Once clicked “activate” i got a blank screen and thats it.

Fresh WordPress Installation via FTP with the latest WP version. 4.5.3–de_DE
PHP Version: 5.4.45

In the private section of the ticket you will get an account info for the test installation.

Could you provide also FTP access to your site, then we’ll be able to check and fix the problem.

Hello,
thank you for your quick reply, but sorry, FTP access is not possible. It is just a fresh & clean WP installation plus the XStore Teheme, nothing else.

Please let me know, which files or screenshots i should provide to you for checking.

Hello,

It could be related to some server settings and functions used in our theme. To find out what problem you have we need to enable wp debug, check what error appears after theme activation and fix it, but can’t do this without FTP access.

So, please, enable debug mode and send us error that you’ll see after theme activation.

After that would be good if you contact me via chat.

Hi,
vere kind, thank you.

After enabling the debug mode and activate the theme again, the log-file contains only lines with these content:

[08-Jul-2016 10:40:35 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Class ‘ETheme_Navigation’ not found in /pages/71/68/d0008546/home/htdocs/srupdxst01/wp-content/themes/xstore/framework/walkers.php on line 6

Is this enough info for you?

Hello,

Could you, please, enable WP debug in wp-config.php file ? Truly saying it’s very difficult to fix the problem without FTP access. Seems our XStore Core plugin conflicts with some server settings but we can’t check what part because we don’t have FTP.

We don’t have such issue on our test installs that’s why we ask access to check on your site.

Hello,

Nope, you have similar but not the same issue. We can’t activate XStore Core plugin for correct work of our theme.

please find below the FTP credentials.

If you can fix the issue (hope so), please let me know, what you have done and what is necessary for me to do for an fresh installation on the same envirnorment. If i should use an higher PHP version, instead of 5.4.45, no problem.

Hello,

For some reason, anonymous functions don’t work with your version of PHP, that’s why we got that error. We fixed it and added this fix in our next update.

Please keep me updated, when the next update is going productive with this fix, because i have to setup the installation on an existing Website for changing the theme.
