Child theme won't override parent - by justinedemers

    Hi there,

    I activated the child theme earlier because I want to change some things in the shortcodes.php file.

    When I upload it in child theme’s folder, nothing happens.

    I want to change “share” in “follow” with the social icons. I changed the link in the file, but like I said, it’s like the child theme doesn’t work.

    Can you help?

    Hello,

    You should copy the whole social function from to the shortcode.php file to function.php of the Child Theme and make changes there.
