Hello,
if a product is out of stock, the add to cart button is grayed out. If I click on it anyway, there is a popup that says that this article is out of stock (I guess this comes from woocommerce). Ok, if I close this window there comes the theme’s popup that says that the item was successfully added to the cart. If I go then to the cart page, it says that the product could not be added because it is out of stock. Is this a bug? Could you please tell me how to fix it?
Please find a link to a out of stock product on my testpage in private content.
Many thanks in advance!
Hello,
If you check our demo theme with ‘out of stock’ product you’ll see there is no ‘add to cart’ button.

What theme version you’re using? Should be the latest 2.7.2 version. If no please update and check issue.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Don’t forget to make backup of the site before update.

I use latest version of everything. All plugins and theme. I reuploaded the whole themefolder. Maybe the problem only exists for variable products. Woocommerce came up with the greyed out add to cart button just recently. Could you please check with a variable product?
Many thanks!
Seems there is a bug with variable products.
We’ve sent a request to our developers and they will fix it in the next theme update.
Also you can disable the Ajax “Add To Cart” option in Theme Options->Single Product Page.

Ok thank you! Looking forward for the fix!
You’re welcome!

The changelog of verison 2.7.3 says that this is fixed, but I just updated and the bug is still there :/
Hello,
Try to delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and reupload it from a new theme package.

Forget it, I made a little mistake – it works 🙂
