I just updated to WordPress 3.9 and am getting the following error message:
Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193
I have updated the Legenda theme to 2.0 but the error is still there! Please help as my client is losing business.
Thanks, David
I have the same issue. I have warnings all over the place.
I am using Legenda 2.0 and the latest version of WooCommerce.
Please help!
Thanks, Fran
Same problem, and it appears on the front and back end:
Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/theaberd/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193
I have also the same problem 🙁
Having the same problem here too, kindly assist !
The warning is all over my website 🙁
Hello,
We are sorry that you are experiencing such problems after WP update. Our developers are working on this issue and it will be fixed in the soonest updates. Now I can advise you to restore your sites from the backup if you have made it before the WP update.
Regards,
Eva Kemp
When will the update be ready? I am on a managed WP server and I cannot roll back WP?
Thank you, Fran
Hello,
@FranM, It should be available within next three days.
Regards,
Olga Barlow
Well, as much as I love Legenda – and I truly do – I cannot afford to have a shop closed for 3 days, so I will have to rethink what I’ll do.
Thank you, Fran
Same problems. Please hurry with the fix.
How can I roll back wp??
Hi guys,
I have redownloaded WordPress 3.8.3 http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.8.3.zip and uploaded, overwriting all files beside the theme and plugin folder. While it is not the best solution due to DB changes from 3.9, it works perfectly fine so far. It is worth mentioning that when putting back 3.8.3, it asked me to update the DB tables. Maybe this has also reverted the DB from 3.9 to 3.8.3. Not sure and all at your own risk.
Let me know if this has also worked for you.
What do you mean by overwriting all files??
Having the same issue, on my site
Same warning on my site (front and backend). I am on a Managed WP host so no way to revert to 3.8.x
Please hurry with fix! Thank you.
Same problem here. Feeling like a complete dumb ass for updating to 3.9 but if a fix is available soon, I’d rather not attempt the downgrade.
NOW, I can’t even sign in!
Dear customers,
We bring our apologies for this terrible inconvenience! We are planning to release our update within next two days and you can be sure it will fix your problem. But we understand that it can be urgent for you, so you may fix this issue now, manually.
Edit file legenda/framework/options.php , find if($doshortcode){
(line 5) and replace by if($doshortcode && is_string(ot_get_option( $key,$setting ))){
Regards,
Olga Barlow
Hi,
I fixed the problem manually and now it works but the logo in the header is not centered anymore 🙂 If I changed the line 5 in options.php it will not cause problems with the new version of legenda, or?
Thanks
Fabian
Can we have an update for the Revolution Slider plugin? Now it is 4.2.1 and newest is 4.3.6. Currently the plugin is not working on Safari and IE yet the developers of the plugin said the newest version should work.
Hello, @fredsarran
We will update Revolution Slider in our next update and include it in the package. We always try to update plugins in our theme while the theme update.
Kind Regards
Hello, @ bitin
Those changes in php file should not effect any Legenda files.
As for the logo, there should not be any issues.
Kind Regards
Hi, I also am experiencing this issue. I also CANNOT login. It won’t allow me, so I don’t know how to update the legenda theme or do any of the other above things without being able to get in my dashboard. Maybe when this is fixed in three days, it will just allow me to login? Please help, I’m not a wordpress guru so I don’t know the technical things to look into. Thanks.
This is what it says..
Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/content/06/9648206/html/papertieaffair/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193
Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/content/06/9648206/html/papertieaffair/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193

@mckenziesmith
You need to do those changes, to fix the issue in theme files, via FTP
edit file legenda/framework/options.php , find if($doshortcode){
(line 5) and replace by if($doshortcode && is_string(ot_get_option( $key,$setting ))){
Kind Regards
Helen –
I’m sorry, but could you explain how to do this? I don’t know how FTP works…how do I do this if i am unable to login to my wordpress admin?
Sorry I don’t understand coding.
Thanks in advance.
Made the change in options.php which fixed the warning messages – thank you!
However, FYI – the Visual Editor is not working for text blocks.
HALLELUJAH! Thank God I went in and I had a recent back up. This was not cool. So I’ve reverted to the old wordpress, and I am afraid to upgrade. Can you please let us know what we should do if we have rolled back.
Hello, @mckenziesmith
You need to enter your FTP, via host and password, find theme files and edit file legenda/framework/options.php , find if($doshortcode){ (line 5) and replace by if($doshortcode && is_string(ot_get_option( $key,$setting ))){
But, the update is already available and you may update the theme.
Kind Regards
Hello, @slpalmer
Thanks for that, we are informed about that issue and will fix that in the next update.
Kind Regards
Hello, @LindaMendible
The theme update is already available and you may update your WP version.
Kind Regards
