Alright so i’m wondering how to make it to where when people click “shop” button on my home page and the shop page opens. How can I set it to where a different default category and sorting appear?

I boxed the items in red which I speak of. They are default but i’d like to change the default from accessories opening first to the Duck Calls opening first.
I’m not as worried about the default sorting but was wondering if that could be changed to sort by popularity as a default too. Would be neat if you had a randomized sorting on there as well. The only reason I really want to change these by default is because if they are sorted by default it sorts products by name in alphabetical order and I have products that aren’t really in the same category but have the same name and they appear next to each other and it can be very confusing to customers.

Hello,

You can reorder categories in Products > Categories and drag categories in order you need. Then go to Appearance > Widgets > add “Woocommerce Product Categories” widget into “Shop Sidebar” area and select “Order by” – “Category Order”.

To change sorting go to Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Default Product Sorting and select the option you need.
