Hello!
I’m using the 8theme Brands filter in the shop sidebar. Normally it works fine.
Now i added a new brand called “Cortina”, and added a lot of products in it. But it’s not showing in the filter in the sidebar.
What’s wrong?
Thanks!
Hello,
As I see Cortina brand has no products http://storage5.static.itmages.com/i/16/0914/h_1473848588_1668686_6732b3843f.png
Add this variation to some products.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hi Jack,
I know, i saw that too, but when i open a product for example Cortina Accu: https://e-bikewereld.nl/wp-admin/post.php?post=19619&action=edit
You’ll see that i added the Cortina Brand. So what goes wrong then>?
Hello,
It’s working fine now. See screenshots:

Is this problem solved?

Hello,
If you want to use default “WoocCommerce Layered Nav” widget then you need to create product variables with attributes you created here http://prntscr.com/chvidm . But if you need to display brands from here http://prntscr.com/chviqg then use “8Theme – Brands Filter” widget.
Best regards,

Hi Jack,
Understand and i already did add the brand “Cortina” in product variables as you can see at your print screen. But still it’s not showing…. 🙁
Normally at all other products we only able the brand en than the filter works.
Hello,
Please show a direct product page where you added Cortina attribute as a variation for variable product.
I see you only marked Cortina brand in products editor, and it will show for “8theme – Brands Filter” widget, and it does http://storage1.static.itmages.com/i/16/0914/h_1473864257_1246316_24ee1ba552.png .
But this filter http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/16/0914/h_1473864302_6379612_16548bcb48.png uses Woocommerce Layered Nav widget which you added in Shop Sidebar. It takes attributes from Products > Attributes and these attributes should be added to variable products to be able to filter products by these attributes.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
