My client purchased this theme and has me installing it solely for the “Victoria” variant. I have imported the demo content however there are a lot of missing areas and the theme does NOT look the same as the preview for victoria. The instructions are very very bad and the theme has so much going on in the back end that it’s way too complicated to figure out. You guys dont have instructions for the backend.
my site is located here on a temporary url
http://whub50.webhostinghub.com/~shopco6/
MISSING SECTIONS:
– our process, collections, about us (3 boxes under the first slider shown on demo)
– NONE of the stock images for the products or blog posts are showing. In fact the only images that were imported were the slider images.
– portfolio images are blank
It is very misleading to sell a theme with demo content and then the demo content isn’t actually included. I understand that the stock images cant be used on a live site without licensing but it doesn’t clearly state anywhere that the images are NOT included with the demo content. Had I of known the images were not included in the themes demo content I would not have had my client pay for this theme. I wanted her to have actual images as place holders until we had her images to replace them with for the live site. I also did not want to have to install dummy image of my own just to have to delete and replace them. So if they’re not you should say that so people don’t spend hours installing something over and over because they think they have done it wrong. The wording in the documentation is pretty bad english. I think there is a bit of a language barrier with the instructions.
QUESTIONS
1. Does the demo content include the stock images for reference yes or no?
2. How do I import ALL the demo content & theme variants at once?
(I see there is a dummy.xml and a bunch of folders for each variant demo content is the dummy.xml for everything I tried installing that but not sure )
3. what is the Ess_Grid.json file for?
Hello,
1. Demo images are not imported with demo content.
Images can neither be used on a live site, nor redistributed. If you want to find out where images came from to buy the license use image search engine https://www.tineye.com/.
2. There is no option to import all demo variants at once.
dummy.xml is for default Victoria demo.
3. It’s for Essential Grid plugin https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/classico/#external_plugins (section “3.6. Essential Grid”).

Hello, missodessa,
We excluded real images from demo content and replaced them by placeholders because many of our clients had the problems with demo content import because of the large size of import file and server settings. With placeholders it takes seconds to import demo content, with images – minutes or some of users, who had limits in server setting, get the error.
As a rule, our customers have their own images and there is no any problem to replace placeholders by real images. If in your case it is so critical we could help you and replace placeholders by images from our demo. Provide temporary admin panel access, please.
Regards
I see. I’ve never had any problems with importing demo content but I do have another question
On the demo version of the them in the MENU navigation…If you click on the “demo” tab and you see the drop down. There are image of the theme in the menu how do I achieve this same look in my menu? there are not really instructions for he variations of the menu options.
