Visual composer after update? - by mbigsby

Im not sure if there is a simple solution to my problem but here goes,

I updated the site and the visual composer to the latest versions and now the visual composer in the backend is all wonky I have tried to recreate my pages but some things dont work like they used to. is there a simple way to convert the old VC code to work in line with the new version of VC?

I’ve saved the changes in Theme Options and now looks like a good, doesn’t it? Check it, please.

Hi Robert,

It’s horrible now i dont have the video background and the image backgrounds dont go the full width of the site. I’m kind of freaking out

so now i have to recreate all of my pages? that is a ton of work and seems a bit crazy. Is there no way to fix this issue without rebuilding the entire site?

Can you please take a look at this issue the VC row is 1/1+1/3+1/3+1/3 and for some reason the last 1/3 gets pushed below now if i use 1/3+1/3+1/3+1/1 the 3 stay in a row whats the problem here?

BUT THIS IS HOW IT IS ON YOUR DEMO. HOW COULD YOU NOT HAVE A FEATURE ON YOUR THEME THAT IS CLEARLY ON THE CORPORATE DEMO. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO READ THIS ENTIRE THREAD AND SEE HOW THIS ISSUE WITH THE VC HAS FORCED ME TO REBUILD MY ENTIRE SITE ALL I ASK IS FOR YOU TO HELP ME A LITTLE BIT WITH THIS MINOR ISSUE. THIS IS WHAT I WANT AND THIS SI WHAT I HAVE IF I USE 1/1+1/3+1/3+1/3 IF I USE 1/3+1/3+1/3+1/1 I GET THE DESIRED RESULTS FROM THE 1/3’S BUT THE 1/1 IS UNDER AND I WANT IT ON TOP PLEASE HELP ME

In our demo we use 1/3+1/3+1/3. But we don’t have this options 1/3+1/3+1/3+1/1.

then how do you get the text above the 1/3+1/3+1/3 and have it still in the video background?

Hello,

You need add row and inside of it select Row element. Then inside of this row element you need add Text element and insert your text in there. After that click “Append to this column” and add another row 1/3+1/3+1/3
