Renaming Portfolio / Projects – Breadcrumbs

    Hi,

    we have renamed our Portfolio page but this has no effect on the breadcrumbs.

    When we open a single Portfolio item … or project … we have following path at the breadcrumbs:
    Home / Projects / Test … but it should be Home / New Name / Test.

    How can we change that?

    Hello,

    You can change it in the wp-content/themes/royal/framework/portfolio.php file on line 13

    Hi,

    many thanks. But this will be overwritten in case of updating the theme, right?

    Hello,

    We recommend doing such changes using child theme https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
    https://8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/index.html#!/2_child_theme
    If you’re using the Child Theme then you’ll not lose your changes after theme update.
