    Hi.
I am using this addon within visual composer and my problem is that I cannot add more than 5 pictures total. If I see the video tutorial of this addon they add 8 pictures like a charm. Do you know why I cannot do more than 5?
If I select one up to five, when I clic on “add images” the gallery window close itself and I get the pictures selected, but when I select six or more, when I clic on “add images” simply the images selected get unselected and there you go, it does nothig, util you select again, but 5 or less in order to work.

Please, any idea on how could I solve this out?
Maybe there is something that I must have selected of configured somewhere? Maybe the version of something is old?

    Thank you

it looks like this happens all the time, not just within “media grid”. As long as I am using the visual composer, when implementing an efect, if I have the chance to select multiple images, I just can proceed correctly up to 5, no more.

So, visual composer is the one who has the problem, uh!

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Ok, testing the same template within a diferent hosting server (so, clean instalation) there is no problem on using more than 5 (I’ve tried 10 succesfully).

There must be something within this hosting instalation (memory cache? or something).

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

Try to increase the value for PHP Max Input Vars function from 1000 to 5000. Ask your hosting provider support to help you with it. Also ask them to check error logs as there may be notices about this problem.

increasing that value to 5000 does not seems to solve the problem (at least not inmediatly, but after 10min neither, neither after few hours)
Is the error log localted under wp main folder? I find one in there with some info, but looks like it is not actual. Not sure. I’ve ask to my host provider about it as well (waiting for answer too).

    This error_log file says this:

[31-Oct-2016 11:52:04 UTC] MS_Aq_Resize.process() error: Image file does not exist (or is not an image): /home/ll1yyym0/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/DSC_0021.jpg

But, (reading the log) though I understand that the picture is not there.. bla bla… the time does not correspond with anytime I’ve tried to add images. So, that would make sense if I can control when I do something and what happends when I do. In case I would follow what this error says, I would understand that for some reason the picture is not where it says it is, but, I check the path of the each picture I move and it does not match ’cause the picture name says here is none the pictures I try to add.

So, I understand this error_log does not talk about this issue.
Waiting though to the host’s answer, I just wanted to share with you the details.
Maybe you have some more ideas to try.

Ok, after few hours past (and I didn’t finish typing this msg) the hosting provider has answered with some (I donno what) linux php changes (optimizations) in order to be able to solve images problems, and I have said to them about the error_log file (under WP) and they saiy now it is that one the correct one. After that, trying to add pictures again, the issue remains, I just can add up to five (no more, but yes less). If, instead of selecting the images from gallery what I do is to upload them again, the problem is the same… it gets stuck doing nothing and if I am pacient enough, after 60 seconds nothing good happens. The images squares (from gallery) have been unselected and it does not goes on. When I select 5 it happens the same but after 3 or 4 seconds, the gallery media windows close and I get the images added. When I try the same WP, theme and plugin, within another host server I have no problems with adding up to 12 images and it waits but after 5 or 6 seconds it goes to the next step.

I am thinking on cleaning everything and starting all over again (with the WP instalation and so on) but it would be better for me if I can find the problem and get a solution.

    Any other sugestion? Please?

    Thank you

ok, few more minuts typing and now that I am done (doing so) I check error_log file again, and here we have more details:

[31-Oct-2016 18:28:31 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 11534336) (tried to allocate 49152 bytes) in /home/ll1yyym0/public_html/wp-includes/class.wp-styles.php on line 224

I bet this is from my testing 10 min (or so) ago.

What do you suggest me to do?

    Thank you

    Hello,

That error means there is lack of memory. You need ask your hosting provider support to increase memory_limit value.

    wait!
something happen. Now seems to work.
Brand new WP instation. First test did not work, but I turned off a plug in (gravity forms, actually), tried again adding 5 images, and did work (same as always), tried to add a 6th one and did work too, tried one more, and did okey too, and finally tried to add the rest (up to 12) and it did work too.

    So, maybe I’ve got it.

    let’s see.

    Thanks
