    Hi,

I love the XStore Theme and I am almost finished with my store. However, I have a problem with the product images. They seem blurry and unsharp, because they are being resized or something.

I have included the URL to the store in the private content field (URL 1 is the example product). I have uploaded an image (URL 2, 1476×2218 pixels, sharp) as my featured image. However, when displayed on the product page, the image appears to be unsharp and blurry. The image URL appears to be URL 3, so it’s a 600×600 version of the file. In other words: it’s being resized to a square and then being resized to a rectangle again.

How can I fix this problem?

    Thanks!

    Jelle

    Update

I read through a lot of support tickets and used https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/using-the-appropriate-product-image-dimensions/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ to try and fix this problem. The images appear sharp now, but the layout looks odd. Have a look at the URL in the private content field. The image is not 100% width and the thumbnails below the image appear with too much space between them. In addition, the product images in the catalog view have messed up the alignment. Please have a look at URL 2.

    These are my settings:

    Hello,

Correct size for your images will be:
Catalog images: 190×286 Hard Crop – off
Single Product: 555×834 Hard Crop – off
Product Thumbnail: 190×286 Hard Crop – off
Set these settings, after that install Regenerate thumbnails plugin and go to Tools > Regenerate thumbnails > regenerate all.

    Regards

    Hi,

I tried the settings you provided, but the store looked messy, so I used slightly different settings and I am happy now.

I have another question regarding the WooCommerce Color & Swatches plugin. As you can see in the private content section, URL 1 points to a product on our shop. I set up the plugin, but it is not working with XStore. I also read something about your own Swatches plugin, but according to the information on the Themeforest support page, it should already have been made public. Should the WooCommerce plugin work, or is it an XStore related problem? If it works on other XStore websites, I will look into .js cache problems.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I see that you are using cache and minify option. Try to disable cache plugin and check if it helps. Minify option may cause such problem. If it does not help, provide temporary admin panel and FTP access to your site.

    Regards
