    Hello,

Try to upload plugins via FTP. Download the archives here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ , extract and upload to wp-content/plugins directory. Then activate them in Plugins section of wp-admin panel.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

Please specify the path of your site files on the server, as I don’t see any WordPress installations in httpdocs folder.
    Thank you.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

I had to install the folder in htdocs (standard installation folder from the hosting provider) .. and the plugins came with the theme so this is why it is in that particularly.

Please reply soon so i can continue..

    Hello,

I just bought the Royal Theme for my WordPress account and I am trying to begin with the developing process. I was able to upload the theme fine, but the required plugins are giving me a hassle. It is the Essential Grid and Revolution Slider that will not install….first it was saying that the header was invalid. So I went to the Eight Theme website and downloaded the files directly to my computer and tried to add them that way….still did not work. Not it is giving me the error:

Installing and Activating Plugin Revolution Slider (1/2)
    Downloading install package from http://aidacorp.us/wp-content/themes/Royal_Theme-v2.8/framework/plugins/revslider.zip…
    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the plugin…
    Plugin install failed.
An error occurred while installing Revolution Slider: Destination folder already exists. /home/ckiely16/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/.

Installing and Activating Plugin Essential grid (2/2)
    Downloading install package from http://aidacorp.us/wp-content/themes/Royal_Theme-v2.8/framework/plugins/essential-grid.zip…
    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the plugin…
    Plugin install failed.
An error occurred while installing Essential grid: Destination folder already exists. /home/ckiely16/public_html/wp-content/plugins/essential-grid/.

    Please help resolve this issue.

Also, I am trying to activate the Master Slider…..every time I tried to activate it gives me this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare mspr_two_instance_notice() (previously declared in /home/ckiely16/public_html/wp-content/plugins/masterslider/masterslider.php:34) in /home/ckiely16/public_html/wp-content/plugins/masterslider-installable/masterslider.php on line 35

I am working with WordPress directly to try to resolve these issues, but they are unable to do too much because this is a third party.

Please let me know what my next step should be in resolving this issues so I am able to finally begin with this design and development process. Thanks!!

    Hello @Paycheck85,

We recommend you to use backend editor instead. It should work properly.

Yes but there is a front end editor. Is this functionality not working anymore on any site or can’t you fix it on my website?

I do use the back editor when editing through WordPress. But I am trying to work through Adobe Dreamweaver….do you know the steps I need in order to make that happen?

Oh and the domain for our site is AidaCorp.US right now…we are in the process of transferring our main domain, AidaCorp.com, I am not sure if that has caused any issues on your end.

    Hello @Paycheck85,

Please try to rename “Royal_2.8” folder to “royal” in wp-content/themes directory. Haven’t you changed any source files in the parent theme?

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I started this topic because the plugins dont work, they work partially now because the frontend editor does not work and i cant see a preview when i edit in the backend.. why cant this be solved? I am still waiting for a solution since as you may understand, if you cant see what you edit it is hard to build..

    Hi Eva,

Thanks for replying. But you must know that i am stuck since monday. The only thing i did is downloading the theme and upload it at WordPress. Since then the problems remain. I have not changed anything, name, code or whatever. The map name is called ”Royal” and not “Royal_2.8”.

I am kindly asking you again to please solve this problem ASAP as i also don’t want to bother you with this problems.

    Hello @Paycheck85,

    Sorry for a delay.
Some files were missing in the theme folder. We’ve reuploaded it and now preview, frontend editor are working. Also as I see you have “revslider” folder in “royal” theme directory. Have you uploaded it? By default there is no any plugins folders inside. Could you please provide your purchase code of the theme?

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I had a long weekend and have been out of the office…I am looking over all of the files and info right now so we can figure out if the issues are resolved….I was able to get Adobe to configure the theme to be able to edit in Dreamweaver, so that is great.

So I have the Master Slider Working…I just need the Revolution Slider to work….

Also, for some reason in I am receiving an “Error 404: Page not Found” when I am in the visual editor?!
I am not sure why this is….seems like maybe something was deleted?? Could you take a look for me…the WordPress info is in the private comments. Thanks!!

    Hello @AidaCorp,

Upload Revolution Slider folder to wp-content/plugins directory. Download it here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ . Then activate it in Plugins section.

I don’t see any errors for Visual Composer editor http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/16/1128/h_1480350625_9465835_55dc48fc29.jpeg , the same is for frontend editor http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/16/1128/h_1480350740_6623217_a24630030f.jpeg .

    Regards,
