Stripe error in checkout - by dotcominfo

    I’m having the same exact problem with Stripe others have reported, where you cannot submit a test order.

    Error:
    “Please enter your card details to make a payment. Developers: Please make sure that you are including jQuery and there are no JavaScript errors on the page.”

    Hello,

    I’ve sent checkout.zip to your email address.
    Extract it and upload “checkout” folder to wp-content/themes/royal/woocommerce directory. Overwrite the existing “checkout” folder.

    This seems to be a frequent problem encountered by Stripe users. With the update you’ve given me, won’t that be overwritten and erased by the next update to your Theme?

    Currently, I’m running the main Royal theme (not the child theme). With the advent of version 2.8 of your Royal theme, the child theme I was previously using stopped working. What’s the secret to getting the child theme working with version 2.8? Yesterday, I downloaded the most recent version of the theme (all files), installing the main theme first and then the child theme. When I installed the child theme, another version of the Royal theme showed up in my themes section of the wordpress admin (version 1.07) which looks totally different than the current version of the royal theme.

    There seems to be something wrong with the child theme in the latest royal theme packaged download. It used to work, now the child theme doesn’t work at all and as I mentioned, it causes this old version of the royal theme to show up in the themes section.

    As popular as this theme is, there certainly seems to be plenty of issues that require custom fixes for.

    Hello,

    The Stripe issue will be fixed in the next theme update.

    As for child theme, please make sure your parent theme folder is named “royal” and not “Royal_2.8”.

    Hello my friend. I have same problem. How can you help me? Is very important, we need a solution as soon as possible!

    I replied this topic, much better than open a new topic. It’s very important have a solution, I bought theme just one week ago and I can’t use it as I though.
