Hello I’m trying to add a price filter widget in my e-shop page, but it doesnt appear even if I add it at product sidebar.
http://vaya.mybusiness360.ch/shop/
Reading about woocomerce widgets:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-widgets/#section-4
The price filter widget only appears on product archives.
Although in your demo I can see it working like charm even if you use only Categories and no products like us:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/shop/
How did you manage to make it work ?
Another one is the recent posts at footer.
At “Static Blocks” we added this: [et_recent_posts_widget number=”2″ title=”Recent Posts” ]
But instead of showing 2 posts, it shows 2 posts from each category. How can I limit it to only 2 posts from a selected category for example “uncategorized” ?
Thanks in advance
Hello,
Please try to disable all 3rd-party plugins and check price filter after that.
We’ve taken your notification about “Recent Posts” to our account and this issue will be sent to the developers.
It will be fixed. Thank you for the notice.

Rose Tyler.
I already check that in both Twenty Fifteen ( installing only WC ) and WC Shopfront template in a empty subdomain and I had exactly the same issue as I had with the shop page in Royal theme.
The thing is that WC says thats what the widget is supposed to do. To work only when you have products in the page, but somehow in your demo it works only with categories.
Hello,
As I see, your price filter shows now http://prnt.sc/e3i8n2
Was the issue resolved?

Rose Tyler.
Not exactly, we are trying out some hacks.
If you inspect the div you gonna see that we are showing BOTH categories AND products. But we are using display:none
in the product div. That makes the widget to appear.
After the search we use a class inside body in order to do the oposite . Display:none
the categories display:block
the products.
Although it seems to work nice in all other search filters, when we use the Price filter there isn’t any extra class that we could use, so we couldn’t find a way to make it work.
After some more investigation , we removed all the custom code and return it in original state cause there isnt a way to make it work like that.
Hello,
So do you need further assistance?
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hello,
I would like to somehow make it work if possible as my client insists on that feature.
As far as I can see it working in your demo like charm, doesn’t someone know how you made it work?!
Hello,
Could you please provide FTP credentials to check the issue?
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Provided the FTP details. I provided then wordpress access too in my first post if needed.
Thanks in advance
Hello,
Seems the issue happened after Woocommerce update as it persists with other themes too.
We recommend you to contact Woocommerce support to investigate this problem.

Jack Richardson.
