Hi!
I’m trying to translate the theme to Spanish, and I’m having some problems (the main problem is that the theme ignores my transtations).
By default, it already shows in Spanish a lot of content, but some strings remain in english (for example, at the product page, the titles “product information”, “product brand”, “share social”, the pop-up for added product to the cart, etc.
So I opened the “default.po” file using Poetry, I created a copy changing language to Spanish, then I translated the strings I just mentioned, and finally I saved the translation as “classico-es_ES.po” and compiled it to “classico-es_ES.mo”. I uploaded those files to “/wp-contents/languages/themes”, and also to “/wp-contents/themes/classico/languages/”. I also copied those files as “default-es_ES.po” and “default-es_ES.mo” and uploaded them to the same paths…. but any of them worked, the strings remains untranslated at the pages of my website.
Can you tell me what am I doing wrong?
Hello,
Please try to rename the files to es_ES.mo/es_ES.po.
If this doesn’t help, please provide FTP credentials for checking.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
It works! I uploaded “es_ES.mo” & “es_ES.po” to “/wp-contents/themes/classico/languages/”, and it is working now.
Thank you very much.
Hello,
You’re welcome!

Rose Tyler.
