I updated Legenda theme. Before updating, the Google Maps worked okay. But after updating to the new theme version, Google Maps no longer work. I edited the file /wp-content/themes/legenda/contacts.php, line 171: <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=YOUR_API_KEY&sensor=false”></script>
(where “YOUR_API_KEY” is my API key.) What else do I need to do to make Google Maps work? Thank you.
Hello,
You don’t need edit theme files in the Legenda version 3.1, as theme option was added there to put Google Maps API Key. You can find it in WP Dashboard > Theme Options > Contact Form > Google Map API.

Hello,
Yes, before installing v3.1, the previous version of the theme also had the Google Map API code inserted to the WP Dashboard > Theme Options > Contact Form > Google Map API. And on the previous theme version, the Google Maps worked fine. But after updating to 3.1, the API code is now displayed above the content on each page, and an error that the Google Map couldn’t be displayed.

See Private Content section. Thank you!
Hello,
Instead of using shortcode [gmaps]
try to use “Contact Page” template http://prntscr.com/ei8x7m or add google map on page with “Default” template via Visual Composer element “Google Maps” http://prntscr.com/ei8y4c .

Jack Richardson.
The page (see Private Content) was created using Legenda’s Contact Page template: the Google map is not working on that page.
The Etheme drop-down list http://prntscr.com/eie0e6 offers Google map as an option, and clicking that option inserts the [gmaps] shortcode to the page. Why isn’t the Etheme [gmaps] shortcode working as it did before this theme update (version 3.1)?
It appears the error might be related to the Etheme shortcode and/or the Legenda theme-options.php in the Legenda theme version 3.1 . Can this be fixed? Thank you.
