Header Background Colour Change – – URGENT

Hi,

I have chosen to use the Light version but need to have a black colour header to blend in the logo.
I have tried to customise the style.css doc but unable to change the header colour to all black. Please can you tell me how I can add/edit a code to change the header where the logo is to all black?

Hello,

You can add this code in style.css your child theme:
```
.header-wrapper.header-type-6 {
    background-color: black;
}
```

Hi Rose,

You gave me the code to edit the header background and it worked for a month. Just now, after I went for lunch the header mysteriously changed. I checked the code, it is still the header code you gave me.

I am not sure why this is happening.

Last week, an ex developer wiped all the code in the child theme, but then I put the header code back in, and it did work.

Could you please look into this, or perhaps also provide me with the original child theme css code that was on the page.

Hello,

As I see, on your site, parent theme is active so code from child theme doesn’t work. You need to check it http://prntscr.com/esrnsz.

Omg I think the last developer who no longer work with us because of conflict and disagreement is playing tricks on my website!! Someone had deleted the whole child theme! This is scary!! We have changed password and all, how can he even get it to the site..
