Hi there,
I moved my site over to the live server, and now I am having an issue after I save my homepage.
Although the changes do save to the front-end, the page in the admin site does following:
– fails to keep the CSS in Visual Composer (in the cog)
– reverts to Classic Mode
– a loose the theme options (in this case, disabled sidebar and slider revolution in header
Thanks,
Mike
Hello,
1) Try to disable all the third-party plugins that do not come bundled with our theme and try to save your page again. Does the issue still persist? If not then enable the additional plugins one by one and check which one causes problem.
2) Update VC and Revolution slider to latest versions https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
In case disabling of plugins does not help, please, provide me FTP access to your site.
Regards
Hi, sorry for the ultra-delay. I haven’t worked on this site for a while.
The issue still persists.
For example, looks at this page in the admin: https://golfsudbury.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=7205&action=edit
When updated, it changes the slug, and resets sidebar and comment settings.
(note, please put settings back after)
I should also mention that once switching the site live, it didn’t move to a different server, just a different spot on the same server. The only real difference I can think of is that the live site is using https.
Please see my ftp info below.
Thanks!
Hello,
Seems problem caused by Facebook Thumb Fixer plugin. I have disabled it and everything works fine.
Use YOAST SEO plugin to be able to choose images for the FB.

Okay, great. Thanks for your help.

Hi, sorry… but I still can’t seem to get the theme options to save: “There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page.”
I tried disabling all plugins (except Redux Framework and XStore Core).
Can you please help me out?
Thanks.
