    How to I make the margins on the left and right larger? I want to show more of the background.

    Also, where do I make changes to the footer (logo, text, etc.)

    Please provide key to connection, because I can’t see your site, and wp-admin access in Private Content.
    You can change margin use VC > settings (row, column, element) > Design Options http://prntscr.com/em54rs.
