I have WordPress 4.0 with Legenda and I am unable to get a self-hosted video to show with the native wordpress player. All I get is a black box and a “download” text, which I do not want.

I tried using other video players, but something always goes wrong with the navigation bar!

I can get the wordpress video player to work fine with an older WP theme I am using for another site so I am guessing the problem is with the Legenda theme now.

Hello,

Please, try it with the default theme.
Also provide us with link to the page and wp-admin access in Private Content.
