Hi there
I have downloaded the new version from themeforest and uploaded the theme through ftp.
But the site does not appear properly only the slider. Everything else has disappeared
I had to restore to the previous version
Even I followed the advice
“I would recommend you before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/woopress/ to avoid problems with old files”
any idea?
Thanks.
Álvaro
Hello,
Make sure your server meets the requirements described in the documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade (“1.3 Requirements for Royal” section).
You need update theme to 3.0 v. and Woocommerce to 3.0.4.

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same)
You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
Thank you, I have proceeded as indicated.
I’ve updated theme via ftp (previously deleting the folder wp-content / themes / woopress / woocommerce), then update to woocoomerce 3.0.4 and everything seems, visually working. I have also uploaded the latest versions of the plugins as you indicated me, except masterslider, because the folder name is masterslider-installable and downloading your web is only masterslider ( ??? )
After all this I can not access to edit any of the pages, it tells me http error 500
I do not know what the problem is.
I’m reading lots on here that woopress 3.0 is not working as it should.
People that have purchased and waited several weeks for the theme update will be massively disappointed, theme developers surely tested this before releasing?
Does woopress only work with woocommerce 3.0 ? there have been several updates since, now on 3.0.5
Finally I have managed to update the theme and make it work. I think the way to do the update is an issue to be resolved by 8theme, Woopress is a great theme but I wonder if I use it again for other customers.
@M4BSyC what did you do in the end to make it work, might help other people?
Was it a conflict somewhere??
I updated 3.0 theme via ftp (previously deleting the folder wp-content / themes / woopress / woocommerce), then update to woocoomerce 3.0.4. After I also uploaded the latest versions of the plugins and delete cache.
At first I generated problems (error 500) but then it worked.
I do not know if this help you. I hope so, greetings
Well I tried exactly what you did and it still doesn’t work 🙁
Thanks for the feed back 😉
Hi, @saphiloche @rose-tyler @jimbo
I again had the same problem, error 500 when entering the wordpress editor.
[03-May-2017 17:18:03 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2199552 bytes) in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 3720
Then I have requested to increase hosting php limits to:
max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 300
memory_limit = 256M
suhosin.memory_limit = 512M
Now everything seems to work correctly
Well done !
Hello,
Please take my apologies for the delay.
I’m glad that you sorted out.
Feel free to ask if you need any other help.
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
