I´m having many issues in my theme because of the new version of woocommerce and the theme update. I´m afraid in mixing these and losing my customizations. Can you help me?

Hello,

Sorry for the delay.
You can update theme to latest version https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/installation_upgrade (Theme Upgrade) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdWESIIPU1k&feature=youtu.be
New theme version is available on ThemeForest (log in with your Envato account credentials and free download the latest version in Downloads section).
Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/woopress/ to avoid problems with old files.
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
If you move all your customizations into child theme you won’t lose them after theme update.
You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.
Also, update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/.

Hello,

Please use PHP 5.6 or 7.0 because the current themes version isn’t fully compatible with 7.0.13.
After change PHP version, try to update the theme.

If it doesn’t help, make full backup of the site, DB and theme options, inform us and we’ll update theme for you.

Is it really ok to change the PHP version to an older? Can I lose something?

I´ve already done the backup of the DB and the site, but when I clicked in the button to change the PHP version, the server showed a message warning that this change could affect some features of my host and some services… Can I do this anyway? I really don´t want to lose anything that is in my site now.

Hello,

You need to change PHP version to normal theme update. If you made backup, you will be able to restore your site to previous state if something goes wrong.

Please make full backup of the site, DB and theme options (Theme Options > Import/Export > Options > Export Options) and we’ll update theme for you.

Now, I´ve got another issue. When I use woocommerce with variable products ( for example this product: http://lizbrunner.com.br/index.php/produto/camisao-em-malha/ ) and when I´m editing the product I select the atribute name “COR (type: colopicker)” and then I check “USE FOR VARIATIONS” and then I go to the Tab VARIATIONS, the area to select the values of the “COR” value are all empty.

Can you help me to understand what is going on?

Hello, @pedromarcelino,

Please try to activate Storefront theme – official WC theme and check if you have this issue with our theme only or even with official theme too. In case, problem appears only with our theme try to disable 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins) and check your issues.

Would you mind refreshing the theme with the last version compatible with woocommerce, maybe this will solve the problem of colours variations! I really need the support help to go on…

Hello,

I’ve sent form-shipping.php and form-billing.php files, and you can replace files in /legenda/woocommerce/checkout folder to achieve compatibility with WC 3.0.9 v.
