    Hi There,

I installed the theme with all the required and suggested plugins around a month ago and everything worked perfectly within my theme. However over the last week it will now not let me edit with Visual Composer, I get errors in my pages and I cannot see the button for “Frontend” & “Backend”

At the bottom of the page in the backend of WordPress I get the following message:
“Elements within this list are deprecated and are no longer supported in newer versions of Visual Composer.”

I have not installed any third party plugins that would clash with the theme.

Would it please be possible to provide me with a solution to this problem as I currently cannot edit anything.

I have left login details in the private content section in this chat.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Sam

Thank you for the speedy response.

Would it be possible for you to contact me when the author sends you a response.

Does this work is the Massive Addons plugin is disabled?

    Thank you

Yes, we will relapse the update and announcement when we get reply from them.

And, yes it will work fine if you disable the massive add on but if you have elements from massive add on in your site that part won’t work..

you can check then take decision by disabling and check the whole site

    Hi Amzy,

I am having the exact same problem again I can’t edit Visual Composer now my site is SSL protected (https).

I need to be SSL protected as I need to test my eCommerce solution.

Is there a work around to this now I have the latest version of the theme, WordPress & Visual Composer & Massive Add Ons

I know if I disable Massive Add Ons then I can edit Visual Composer in the back-end of WordPress but I need Massive Add Ons to be functioning because I have it within my site.

If you could give me any details that would be great.

    Thank you

    Sam

    Hi There,

I am also now receiving another error which has just happened over night and I am unsure what has happened as I have not changed anything.

The page will not load properly now and most of my content on the homepage has disappeared. I believe that this is an issue to do with the footer.

The error that I am receiving is:
The error is “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting elseif (T_ELSEIF) or else (T_ELSE) or endif (T_ENDIF) in /home/joysofwa/staging/7/wp-content/themes/xstore/footer.php on line 92”

Please would you be able to advise on this all of the login details are within the private content section.

Thank you very much in advance

    Sam

    Hello,

I have updated theme to the latest version and error message disappeared.
About Massive Addons issue. We have contacted them a few months ago with the same problem and here you can see what answer we got http://prntscr.com/gibabf

We sent this answer to that user and did not get any response, so I can’t tell you if this answer was helpful. Anyway, we have few more clients who use https and faced the same problem. We contacted plugin author again but get no response. You may try to contact Massive Addons plugin author by yourself, maybe you get any answer about this problem for users who use https.

    Regards
