    Hello, I have 2 problems:
1- the search option cant’ find anything when I press “enter” or the magnifier, but when I only write the name of a product in the “search box” and wait some seconds the “ajax” function works perfectly and shows me the search related products… how can I solve this problem?

2- My website is built as a “catalog” and not as an e-commerce. I couldn’t use the “just Catalog” option for many reasons so I worked on any other options and on CSS… Now, my customers asked me to show an icon on the “new products”, but I didn’t find an option to do that, so I decided to use the “sale” icon (I gave a fake prices) and and I translated it in “Nuovo” (it means “new” in italian). It seems to work but when I go on the products with the icon “nuovo” in the shop page (and in the “[8theme] products” element in visual composer) the link of the “blue label” that appears from below takes me to the cart and not to the product details, as is the case with other products.
How can I change the link from the “cart” to the product details for all the producs with the “nuovo” (sale) icon? Otherwise, how can I give the “nuovo” icon only on any choosen products without use the “sale” option?
    Thanks a lot for help!

    Hello,

1- Try to update theme to latest version. We have made a lot of improvements to the product search.
Do the backup of the files and DB before the update. You may need to re-activate theme after update from version 3.8. Also, don’t forget to update XStore core plugin. Let me know if after the update you still have problems with search. Then provide admin panel and FTP access.

2- We don’t have New label and you may look for additional plugin to implement this, for example, https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-product-labels-for-woocommerce/ or https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-advanced-product-labels/
I tried to reproduce the problem with sale icon but that label is not a link http://prntscr.com/giqckx Image has the link but this link redirects to the product page. Maybe you could provide me the screenshot of the place where you have this issue?

    Regards

Hello Olga, thanks for your help.
I’ll try to update the theme and let you know if there will be problems
    again.
About the cart link, here’s a screenshot: http://www.wgmadev.it/oxyturbo/salenuovo.jpg
I hope it will better explain my problem.
The problem is not about the “sale” icon, but about the link of the blue
rectangle that appears on the product image on rollover.
Thanks again for your help, Regards,

    Alberto Mondini

    Hello,

I’m not sure about this. I think it’s related to your additional customization because I see that our hover effect is disabled, so you added that hover. Can’t tell you more without checking your files.
Provide me temporary admin panel and FTP access to your site.

    Regards

    Hello Olga

I’ve updated the theme to the latest version but the search function doesn’t work yet…
About the hover effect: I’ve used one of the options given by the theme and simply added a CSS code for the zoom effect.
I’ll send you the admin panel and ftp access but the server is changed (https://sviluppo.oxyturbo.it), please refer to the new data I send.
    Thanks again for the help,
    Regards,

    Hello,

    1) Search works fine with parent theme, you can enable and check. You have made some changes in child theme functions.php that causes issue.
    2) You just changed the icon for the add to cart button but should have changed the styles for the Quick View button. Quick view option was disabled at all. I have enabled the option and changed the styles, check now.

    Regards

    Hello

    1) ok for the search, thank you very much

    2) My customers doesn’t want the “quick View”! I can’t use that… the hover effect and the “blue label” were good (visually speaking), I only needed to do that the products with the “sale” icon would always take to the single product page and never to the cart!
Please could you restore the options I gave and let me know if it’s possible to change anyting in the PHP to completely disable the cart link? An option would be to leave as it is now but disable the “lightbox” option (only here and not for the rest of the website) and simply link to the single product page…

Thanks a lot for your help Olga! It works very well, but… I have a problem now: I can’t see my css codes in the “Global Custom CSS” field in the 8theme options, the field is now empty (before I had about 780 lines of codes) but the effects of my css codes are still on.. what can I do to reload my css codes?
    Thanks again,

    Regards

    Hello,

You may find the code in style.css file of your child theme.

    Regards
