Hi
when i create a blog post and give the post format type ‘Video’, instead of standard, I am able to enter a Youtube URL. Thisis found under this section:
8theme Post Options -> Post featured video (for video post format).
When I enter a Youtube URL, and save the page. i refresh the browser displaying that page using Google Chrome, press F12 to see if there are any console errors, and notice that I get the error:
GET https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=api.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2xxxxxxxxxx=false 404 (Not Found)
widget-0efb45f5-545f599c.js:14 SoundCloud Embed Player (api-web)
There is nothing in the box relating to Soundcloud when editing the post. Any page with “Our Latest Blog posts” thumbnails also has the console error. Seems like a bug in the coding of video pages to me.
Please investigate? I noticed that you do not show us Youtube videos on your demo pages, only Vimeo videos. I suggest you replicate this on your demo and see for yourself, please?
Regards
Tried to edit my support post above straight after posting and get the error “You cannot create new topics.” Seems like my account has been restricted in some way.
I’ve worked out that the error relates to another post which had a soundcloud link, but was showing in the sidebar as a thumbnail to the other post. So even though the correct Soundcloud link is in the other post, it still throwing up an error on the console.
OK, solved it by deleting the post with Soundcloud in, which affect other pages with a sidebar with it showing.
Please delete this thread. But allow me to edit my own posts, as not able to right now.
Hello,
We are glad that you sorted out.
You are able to edit your post during next 300 mins.
