I’ve discovered that when you search for a product it brings up duplicate product results in the search archive if you have products with brands associated. Is there a way to not have one or the other appear in the search results? I’ve posted a link below

I suppose your problem is related not to brand but to search by product variations. Could you, please, provide me temporary admin panel and FTP access to make sure? If the problem is related to search by product variations would you prefer to search by variations or remove it to avoid duplication of products because of displaying all the variations?

Hi Olga – I need to give this some thought. Has the ability to search by product variation been built into the theme or is that an out-of-the-box feature that’s package with Woocommerce?

Search by SKU (that includes search by SKU for the variations) is XStore feature and does not come with WooCommerce by default. You can go to Theme Options > Header Settings > disable search by SKU and try to search that product again by product name instead of SKU. Or enable search by SKU and set the SKU for both variations different that default SKU for the product and try again to search by SKU.

HI,
I m encountering the same issuse as mentioned about.
Problem –
1) When I try to search by SKU code it show me duplicate results for that SKU, both in AJAX search and Search results once you press the search button.
Also in the AJAX search results the image shown is a placeholder image and no titles are shown up.
2) When I search the product with the product name, it show me all the other products along with that product showing at the top as a result of search, instead it should that particular product.
It would be great if you could find a solution for this issue.

Please provide us with screenshots and kay words you use for searching so we could replicate problems. Also, we need temporary wp-admin and FTP access to be able to check problems more deeply.

We only changed the theme to default one and back, that’s all.
Because of number of requests, there is a delay, but once our developers find a solution for the search problem, we will let you know.
I can see that some widgets changed positions in the result of theme changing. Sorry for the inconvenience, you can place widgets in right positions (Appearance > Widgets) from Inactive Widgets area.

We’ve disabled YITH WooCommerce Ajax Search Premium plugin and fixed the SKU search problem (via the child theme). You can clear cache and check.
Please do not use additional search plugins together with our Ajax search, because it generates errors.
I would recommend you to disable some plugins, for example, WPML All Import and Regenerate Thumbnails. Also, you have plugins with similar functionality WP Google Maps and GMAPS for Visual Composer. When you have multiple plugins installed and activated on your site, it can slow it down. So, keep enabled only those plugins that you really need for the correct functioning of your site and disable all the plugin that you don’t use.
If you want to use this option https://prnt.sc/jl3v1o, you need to enable debug mode and fix any problems come from plugins.
