Hello
my mega menu, is suppose to be in columns, not rows?? Its suppose to look like the demo shown and docs shown, but with all the correct settings as you can, the menu comes out in rows…
I can give access, but you think there is nothing wrong. And all settings are shown
please check for login cred
hello
i have folowed the instructions to the tee, on the 2 mega menu options on your docs. notice how they do not work correctly.
i have also sent admin login info for you. can you please help me.
Hello,
Secondary menu has vertical flex direction, main menu – horizontal.
If you want to have horizontal columns I would recommend you to use Static Blocks to create your mega menu. For example
Step 1 – Static block http://prntscr.com/iki03a
Step 2 – Choose block in the menu options http://prntscr.com/iki0kb

Hello
Please look at the demo. Is this how you created the mega menu? all i did was use your demo template, and set the settings.
I have looked at your edits, and it looks nothing like the demo. I only used my categories so i can try to create these menus. Now with the demo link, it shows many different options. and its a secondary menu. Non are static blocks. And the way you set it up, still looks nothing like the demo.
Please show me how to make the demo one or how do i load the demo secondary menu into my site so i can see the sample.
Hi @jonq – see this post. https://www.8theme.com/topic/mega-menu-add-rows-in-columns/
This’ll hopefully give you the answers you’re seeking to begin the build on your menu.
There’s a slight learning curve to build out the menus but once you get the hang of it, there’s tons of possibilities packaged in the theme. Good luck!
can you send me instructions on how to do the 3 columns? even on the demo shows 3 colums but cutoff ?
Hey – when you download the theme, there’s a folder called ‘documentation’. Check that folder for an index.html file. Go to the mega menu sections. There’s super detailed instructions on how to create columns menu items 🙂
ok this is exactly what i did, and had gave you login so you can check, and now you want to run me around in a circle and show me the same thing i had already done since the beginning.
This does not work, im telling you that. and yhou checked, then you said you guys supposedly created something for me, but looks nothing like your demo as stated again.
You guys need to fix this. i have done all the instructions to a tea, i had you guys check, you told me what you stated above, and you circled back and told me this! i did this, that’s why they told me to come to this forum. what is going on!?!?!
Sorry jonq, I am actually another customer who was sharing my experience. Let’s wait for support to jump back on the thread again and they’ll help you out further. Theme support and the forum moderators are actually really good here. Hang tight.
olga,
why is there no response on this??? with your demo on this link, how do i make the menus like that?? why would i only be able to do it on the Main menu, when your demo shows, secondary menu with these options.
I am even using your setup from demo template, and the secondary menu does not look like that.
Hello,
Take my apologies for the such a long delay in answering. I have created both mega menus using Static Block.
All you need is to create the static block that will have the columns/rows layout you need and use Menu item list VC element to add menu items and subitems. Once block is created choose it for the first menu item in your menu, choose mega menu design and mega menu columns number to set width of the mega menu http://prntscr.com/iliz8r
Let me know if you need to re-create any other menu item from our electronics demo as example.
Regards
