Hi,
As of today the Instagram feed stopped working. It gives back: Instagram has returned invalid data.
Could you please help me sorting this out. Can it be something related to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/stopped-working-today-instagram-has-returned-invalid-data/
Thx for your prompt reply.

Hello,
We’ve sent wp-instagram-widget.php file to your registration emails.

Hello @hdowthwaite,
You use old theme version. I would recommend you to update the theme https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ and then replace the wp-instagram-widget.php file.
Regards
Can you please send it to me too?
Hi, This still isn’t working and I have updated the theme to 4.21.1 and then overwritten the file supplied. I have waited 2 hours and still no change.
Please advisee. Thanks.

Hello @hdowthwaite
Please clear all cache (browser, plugin, server cache) and check one more time. Do you use CDN? Could you please provide temporary FTP access in Private Content?
Regards
Hi, I don’t use CDN. I have cleared all caches and still not loading. FTP details in private content.
Thanks
Hello @hdowthwaite,
The problem caused by changes in xstore-child/framework/widgets/wp-instagram-widget.php file. With the parent theme activated, the Instagram works fine, so you need to compare 2 files and add the missing code to your child theme file.
Regards
Thank you, I have sorted it 🙂
Hello @hdowthwaite,

Have a nice day.

Please may you also send this file to me?
Thank you!
Hello @Scott,
You can simply update the theme and the Instagram problem will be fixed – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting the update process.
