Hello, have been adding my first products since moving to 4.2.1 and found that I am unable to preview draft product pages and get a 404 error.
I am still able to publish the products, and these products are public / visible, but the draft preview is a handy feature.
Any suggestions on resolving this?
Regards,
Blair
Hello,
What PHP version do you use?
Please provide us with temporary wp-admin access.

Hello. It is on version 7.0
Hello,
I’ve created test product and saved the Draft, but I do not see any problem with the Preview http://prntscr.com/jcoqmn
Please describe in details how the problem can be recreated.
Regards
Hi Rose, I have been using the create duplicate option. You will see the latest products at the top of the list. If you duplicate one and preview I get the error.
Hello,
Let me know what exactly product should I duplicate, because there is no the problem with this one http://prntscr.com/jcowwa

Hmm, getting weirder.
The one that you copied wouldn’t work for me.
I went to look at your test product and got a “Sorry, you are not allowed to preview drafts” message. So maybe a permission change in the latest version of WordPress?
Rose, are you actually clicking on that preview button? I get either 404 or you are not allowed to preview message. Tried two different browsers and three admin user accounts including yours.
Additionally, I have started seeing a “Welcome to Woopress – You’re almost ready to start selling” message. With “Run the Setup Wizard” button. A but odd since it has already been selling product for a couple of years …
1. Please check the Preview problem with the default theme (we are theme support and we can help you with issues related strictly to our theme).

3. You need to click on SKIP Setup button.

Hi Rose, I have tried using another PC to administer the site today, and everything is working as expected on this machine! I had cleared the cache etc on the other pc, in both edge and chrome, so all a bit odd really.
I have not used wp-admin on this pc for a month or so.
Apologies for the “false” alarm. Will crosscheck issues on different machines in the future 😉
Cheers.
Hello,
Great. Have a nice day.
