I try to delete the “product_new” custom field, but after updating the product it has come back again. How do I make this custom field go away?

    Regards,
    Mackenzy

If you want to hide “product_new” custom field on back-end product page, please click on ‘Screen Options’ button on top of product page and uncheck ‘Custom Fields’

Are you sure this is the right solution? If I look at product # 0111 and #0111H the Custom Field buttons are both unchecked, yet the products appear as “new” on the site.

    Hello,

If you wish to uncheck a product as New, then you need select “No” in “Mark product as “New”” field when editing a product:

    Thank you.
