Dear 8Themes,
Is there anywhere we can look in the Royal theme so check if there are any parts of the website that are slowing the site down?
e.g is there a concise list that we can refer to in Royal Theme?
URL is in the private content.
Hope you can help.
Kind Regards, Su.
Hello,
First of all, I would suggest you to optimize images. For example, using TinyPNG service you can save up to 70-80% http://prntscr.com/jtkexm Why do you use png image grapebackcol.png (736.4 KB) instead of jpg (93.9 KB)?
Size of the home page is 9Mb at present, you need to reduce it to load it faster.
Also, provide me temporary Dashboard access to your site to check the cache plugin settings.

Thank you Olga.

Hello,
We have optimized images on your home page and installed Speed Booster plugin to get more optimized results and site speed is much better now https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/cQ9HjJ/http://www.chateautechnologies.com/ than before https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/chNgjD/http://www.chateautechnologies.com/
We would recommend you to optimize all the other images to get better results for all the other pages.

Thank you Olga, much appreciated.
With reference to the TINY PNG, we have compressed many of the images but realise we could do with creating photos that are the best size for the Royal Theme.
What will help us a great deal is to understand what are the best pixel dimensions for the images we have highlighted in the screenshot in the private content.
If we can re-do all the images this end then this will make a huge difference.
Hope you can advise, Kind Regards, Su.
Hello,
Images highlighted on the screenshot are autogenerated images (WordPress thumbnails images). Thumbnail image is 150x150px (Settings > Media), block size is 103x103px, so you can change the thumbnails size to 103×103 in media settings and regenerate thumbnails (Tools > Regenerate thumbnails).
