I had a developer look at this issue and he’s telling me it appears that the default function for the cart drop down widget is that it will only allow items to be deleted on certain WooCommerce pages. For example, if I go to our site’s F.A.Q. page customers aren’t able to remove an item from the drop down cart, clicking the delete button does nothing. But if a customer clicks delete while on a product page or main shop it works.
I have custom category pages set up for the shop and if customers add items from one of these pages than the cart widget just fades and the item doesn’t appear which causes confusion.
Is there a way to change the function for the cart widget to function (both adding and deleting items) across the entire wordpress site? Or at least specify additional specific pages where I’d like for it to be fully functional?
Thanks!
Hello,
What version of theme and woocommerce do you use?
Did you make changes in template files? Do you use child theme? Do you have the same problem with parent theme activated on site?
Have you tried to disable all 3rd party plugins?
Regards
I found the problem, an optimization plugin was disabling WooCommerce scripts and CSS on non WooCommerce pages. It works now that I turned that off. Thanks for the insight!
I am glad that your problem was solved.
Regards
