Hi, I have just updated to Legenda 3.8.1 and My fonts are defaulting to serif rather than Open Sans. My site is SSL secure. it seems the google font link is http rather than https. see…
‘A file with an insecure url of “http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400,800,300,700” was loaded on line: 104 of https://yogaleggs.com/.’

I have uploaded the new theme, new WP and cleared the cache, but nothing has fixed the issue.
    can you help?
    many thanks

    Hello,

Please try to install and activate Really Simple SSL plugin.
If this won’t help, edit legenda/framework/shortcodes.php and change https://prnt.sc/k3c89g to https://prnt.sc/k3c81p
    <?php echo et_http(); ?>

    Regards

    Hi, thanks.
i use https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-force-https/ to force the https, so I only changed the line of code as you suggested.
this does not seem to have made a difference.
I’d prefer not to use a new https/ssl plugin unless absolutely necessary.
    can you help any further?
    thanks

    hi, see info below.

some other things that seem to have happened since the update…
create new product returns a 500 server error
adding variations hangs forever, save draft, reload page and variation is there
    duplicating a product returns a 500 error
mailpoet newsletters are not formatting correctly.

which of these things are related to the update, I don’t know… if any of them!

    thanks

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

We’ve fixed the problem with fonts.
I do not see the problem with creating new product http://prntscr.com/k55qhc

mailpoet newsletters are not formatting correctly.

    – please describe this problem in more details.

    Regards

    thanks,
the fonts are now all ok, and there is no mixed content warning.

if you make a new product, you add the information, but as you press ‘publish’ you get a server error.
also, if you list the products and press duplicate, you get the same error.
either way, the item is actually created, which you can see by reloading the list of products.

regarding mailpoet, if you edit a draft newsletter and send a test version the email is incomplete or misformatted.
i don’t know if all these things are related or plugin conflicts??

    You’re welcome.
500 Internal server error means that there is some Fatal error in PHP script or on the server side. You can turn on debug mode in WordPress to see the error https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
If it will not show any errors then contact your hosting provider and ask them to give you a server error log to check what is wrong.
MailPoet plugin doesn’t come bundled with our theme, so it would be better to contact author of the plugin. We don’t provide support for 3-rd party plugins as it’s out of our support scope.

hi, i simply changed the php version from 7.0 to 7.2 and now all is working again.
O presume there’s not a problem with the theme and 7.0 and it’s probably a server glitch, but i thought i’d let you know how i fixed it. thanks for all your help.
