    Good day,

My site was working perfectly til a couple hours ago, when I attempted to log into the WordPress backend, I got the Internal Server error 500. After consulting with my domain hosting provider, they determined it was the X-Store Theme(Furniture Store) causing the issue. After disabling the theme, I was able to log into my WordPress backend.

However when I re-enabled the X-Store theme, the internal server issue occured again. Can you please help me?

    Hello,

Please provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP access.
Make sure you have checked all the server requirements – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/xstore-theme-requirements/

    Regards

    Hello,

As I see, you updated Core plugin but theme version is old on your site.
Please, contact your hosting provider to get FTP access (FTP hostname, FTP username, FTP password) to your site then follow our video tutorial and update theme via FTP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7wPeHEPb6E&index=3&list=PLMqMSqDgPNmCCyem_z9l2ZJ1owQUaFCE3&t=14s

    Hello Rose,

The FTP upload process is worrying me a little with the number of changes to the files.
Is it possible I can safely use the Easy Theme Update plugin, that was mentioned in your help article?
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/

I have already performed a backup using All-in-One WP Migration and downloaded the backup as a WPRESS file.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

Don’t update XStore core plugin to version 1.1.2 if you use 4.x version of the XStore theme.
1.1.2 version of plugin is not compatible with theme version that you are using now. If you are using XStore 4.x then the core plugin version should be 1.0.23. If you use XStore 5.0.2 then plugin should be 1.1.2.

    Hello @rafeekcj,

    Please check now.
You did not provide wp-admin access. Please check what php version do you use, I would recommend to update it to PHP 7.2.

    Regards
