Hi
Please help, how do i switch off default footer widgets, i’ve read documentation and gone through theme options.
I dont want to display anything in footer widgets 1, 2, 3 and 4. But when i empty them default footer items go in.
If i put in an empty text box it leaves a gap there.
Please help
Thanks.
Hello,
please move needed widgets to footer areas 1-4 and fill footer areas 5-8 with empty text widgets only.
This will leave only little gap
Hi
This is a really bad design, this does not work it still has a big gap at the bottom and even more so when viewing on mobile.
my site is http://www.boutiqueboo.co.uk
Why is there not a button to ‘show default footer info’ like in ‘The Leader’ theme
Can i have proper fix please. Why is there not footer options within the theme options, so you can chose whether you want to use 4 widgets or 8 widgets.
Thanks
Hello,
Please add this code in custom.css file:
.footer-hr {
display: none !important;
}
Thank you.

hi eva,
i have followed the instructions and your method (not the CSS one) works fine when i’m logged into my wordpress account. however if i enter without logging in it looks ridiculous and out of place. can you have a look? i have attached some images to illustrate the problem better.
Hello,
In the previous post you provided us with different site url.
Now in your screenshots the link is http://borntobeman.com/ not http://www.boutiqueboo.co.uk .
So what site needs to be edited?
Please provide us with wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
boutiqueboo is jkember’s website. borntobeman is mine.
Hello @lvl5ballz,
Sorry for misunderstanding.
I’ve checked your site and the footer is shown fine for non-logged in user.
Please clear your browser cache and check again.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
