I need some help with the filter functionality on a website where I have the XStore theme.
Below there are all the details.
Hello,
Can you, please, provide us with Dashboard and FTP access to your site? We’ll check and fix the problem.

Hello,
I have added the log in information.
Is there a way to filter in both directions? At this point we go to the category and filter by brand.

Hello,
You gave FTP access to the wrong directory. I see only 4 themes in Dashboard http://prntscr.com/l70km1 but 5 themes folders in the FTP directory http://prntscr.com/l70kpp
Please, check the FTP access and provide the correct one.
Regards
Hello,
There is no other ftp directory. I don’t know why the difference in the themes number, but that is the directory. I have removed the other themes, so know there is only xstore and it’s child.
Regards.
Hello,
No, FTP that you provided me is for the other site. Try to install any theme via Dashboard and check if it appears in the /wp-content/themes folder when you check via FTP. It won’t. Also, you can delete any theme via FTP or make any changes in theme files but you wo’t get these changes on the frontent of the site that you provided me.
I see that you updated theme to latest version where we fixed this problem but next time if you need help keep in mind situation with FTP. We will need correct access.
Regards
Hello Olga,
Yes, the update fixed the problem, thanks. I don’t have any other ftp information, I will check with my client.
Can you recommend any plugin for filtering the categories. I mean if someone chooses a brand, they could then add a filter with a category?
I have tried WOOF but it’s not working very well.
Thanks.
Hello,
You may check this one https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-product-filter/8514038
As I know it includes filter by category. But if you use third-party plugins to filter products and plugins that use Ajax to filter then our Ajax filter option should be disabled because it could conflict.
Regards
Thanks, Olga. I will check it out.
Hello,
You’re welcome!
Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.
