    Hi there,

the up-to-date version of WooCommerce is not working with the royal theme.

    1. The order screen of Woocommerce is broken (backend)
    2. I can’t add manual orders -> products cannot be added (backend)
    3. When using PHP 7.x, the product details page is broken (frontend)

I have been talking to the WooCommerce developers. Here is the answer:

“Regarding the theme, you will need to reach out to the developers and let them know of the issue – they should be able to add compatibility for the WooCommerce order screen, which should fix your issue.”

    Best,
    Stefan

    Please, contact administrator

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us.
Latest theme version is 4.7.1. On your site – 3.4 version. Please check https://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976?s_rank=7
Our documentation will help you with the theme updating – https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#installation_upgrade
Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/ to avoid problems with old files (it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package).
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
Also, check the widgets and make sure that you know where every widget is placed because they could be messed up after the update. Do not forget to re-save your Royal options after upgrading the theme (navigate to admin panel > Theme Options and hit Save changes) and Skip Setup Wizard.
I would recommend you to create a staging site (the full copy of live site). There you will be able to do all required updates (theme and all plugins). Make sure that everything is ok and only after that update everything on the production site.
If you use child theme then child theme files should be updated according to new files.
Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

    Regards

I have downgraded it because of this problems. Please delete the link in your post. It’s public here, isn’t it? I will create a staging site.
