I want to change the text of the contact form

Hi,

i want to change the title of the field on the contact form, but i don’t find where to edit that on the administration page.
I have : Name and Surname / Email / Message, and i want to write it in French : Nom et Prénom, etc ..
The shortcode for the contact form is : [mc4wp_form]
But there is no “Contact Form” tool for the mc4wp form on the admin page, so no options to edit!
Can you please tell me where I have to change it ?

I also want to change the “Send Message” Button to “Envoyer un message”.

Hello,

If you are using MailChimp plugin for the contact form (because the shortcode [mc4wp_form] belongs to this plugin) you need check its settings in wp-admin panel > MailChimp for WP.

Sorry, I did a mistake!
I have this shortcode for the contact form :
[contact_form class=”compressed”]

and i can’t see how to change the labels from english to french

Are you using Contact Form 7 plugin or our default contact form?

The default contact form (that you put on your demo templates).
Normally we can change the options (not just the email), right ?
If not, could you please tell me where I can edit that ?

Navigate to Theme Options->Contact Form. There you can put your email.

If you want to have support for other domain name you have to buy one more license. Do you have the second license key? Please provide us with the code.

You need edit the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php (line 1764), find the code <a href="mailto:enteryour@addresshere.com?subject='.$post_title.'&body=Check%20this%20out:%20'.$permalink.'" class="'.$tooltip_class.'" title="'.__('Mail to friend', ETHEME_DOMAIN).'" target="_blank"> and replace .$post_title. with your subject.

Sorry for misconfiguration.
You need replace the code $post_title with the subject you need to display. The dots between this function should be kept.

Hi Support,

Somehow when removing the $post_title from the css and reload the site it replaces the mail icon with the code / text…

Is there an other solution / suggestion?

Have you just removed $post_title or replaced it with your text?
You need insert your own subject there.

Hi Support,

I have replaced it with the Subject text I want to appear, but had a ‘-‘ in the text and somehow it does not take those type of characters.
Tried again with only text and indeed it works.
