Paypal checkout gateway problem – button visibility

Hello,

I want to use Paypal checkout gateway to give customers a better shopping experience.

I guess you guys can’t hear stuff around a third party plugin (the plugin author said in similiar cases it would be a theme issue). So I have 2 problems with it.

I use this xstore “center-3” header with smart/fixed option when scrolling page down.

problem #1:
In normal view (desktop display) on single product page this PPCG button works fine and appears below the “add-to-cart” button and also in minicart. But when scrolling down and the smart/fixed header bar is active the PPCG button disappers. WHY? When I scroll back to top and the normal header bar comes back .. appears the PPCG button again.

problem #2:
The PPCG button in minicart isn’t always and on every page visible. Only on pages (single product, cart) where the button is anyway and of course only in normal header – not within the fixed header. Outside these 2 sites the PPCG button dissappears.

In storefront theme works it. The mini-cart shows the PPCG button below the “add-to-cart” on all pages (home, shop, single, …)!

Hope you can help or tell me which part causes the error. Thanks in advance!

Hi Rose,

yeaaah, problem #2 seems to be fixed. The PPCG button is showing inside mini cart on all pages. Looks really nice! Thank you very much for solving problem #2!

… but, problem #1 looks like before. Inside fixed header’s mini cart the PPCG button disappears unfortunalety when scrolling down the page. Would be great if you can fix it too or tell me it’s an plugin problem. Then I’ll ask plugin author about this problem.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.
The fixed header is generated automatically by the script, and the button won’t work there, unfortunately.
You can disable the fixed header (Theme Options > Header > Fixed header > Fixed header type > Disable)
or disable the cart from the fixed header by adding this code in Theme Options > Custom CSS:
```
.fixed-header .shopping-container {
    display: none;
}
```

Ah, ok. Not exactly that what I did want to hear but it is how it is. I thought there would be a way to show the PPCG button in mini cart also inside fixed header too. Ok, I’ll think about to disable minicart in fixed header. Thank you for checking these problems!
