Hi, there seems to be an issue with the social media display feature on the header.
When I click on the Facebook Share icon: https://prnt.sc/po6z9d
Tthe share visual doesn’t show any image of the site: https://prnt.sc/po6zdt
On my other themes when I click share, it displays an image, at least the home slider image, etc. Is there something I need to adjust, coding, etc. on my end? Please let me know.
Thanks!
Hello,
You can use Yoast SEO plugin to choose images for the FB. Don’t forget to clean the FB cache for the posts you already shared https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/
+ Go to Theme Options > General > Disable default Open Graph meta tags > On.

Do I hace to use Yoast SEO to show an image on FB post? I don’t mind if it uses a default image.
I just debugged from the link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing – and turned the open graph meta to On, but it still didn’t work.
On my other themes, I didn’t have to do these steps, since the website and theme automatically displays one of the slider revolution image from the homepage, when I post on Facebook.
Hello,
Yes, I would recommend you to use the SEO plugin.
If you do not want to use the plugin, “Disable default Open Graph meta tags” option should be off.

Ohhhh got it, I thought you said to turn it On previously. It works without having to use the Yoast SEO. I didn’t want to have to deal with getting the Facebook App ID from my client in order for the Yoast plugin to work.
The default images it picks up for the preview is fine, no need to customize which images to show. Thanks for your help.
You’re welcome!
Regards
