Hello, I have tried to translate the subject with loco translate, and I copied the language files I downloaded with my purchase and placed them in the file / wp-content / languages / themes but still in English and I need it in Spanish.
Could someone tell me what am I doing wrong?
Hello,
1) Go to Settings > General and select your language – http://prntscr.com/poca4x
2) Make sure that translation files have correct names – your language name and xstore theme suffix, e.g xstore-de_DE.po.
3) Go to Loco Translate > Themes > XStore > Select your language > click on Sync btn https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/ > Save translation. Then you will be able to translate untranslated strings. Before checking the frontend, do not forget to clear cache to ba able to see changes.
You need to translate XStore Core plugin also. This article will help to sorted out with the translation of WooCommerce plugin – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

Thanks for the prompt response
The translation I have to do in the subject father or child, since my active subject is Animal-child?
Hello,
You need to translate the parent theme.
The child theme should be translated only in case you added custom code in child theme that includes localization functions.

thank you very much for your help.
The translation does not work at all, and I read the manual and indicate that it is necessary to translate the core of xstore, but I cannot find in the files downloaded after the purchase any file with language for the core. can you help me?

Please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access.

Tanks.
Hello,
Your language in settings > http://prntscr.com/pqzo7o but you created translation > http://prntscr.com/pqzoej According to your site language, the theme and plugins should be translated to Español language.
Also, your header is created via Header builder, so “All categories” text should be changed via Theme Options – https://prnt.sc/pqzrhb

Thank you for all your support, but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I already put in Spanish and did the translation but it doesn’t appear.

Hello,
Check now, please.

Thank you very much, it works very well.
I do not know if it is the right place to ask you another question but I did an upgrade to my hosting because with the previous plan wp used 100% of the cpu in many occasions and the site showed connection error to the database, the The tester recommended me a service developed for wp, but the loading time of the pages is high and it still consumes 100% of the CPU on occasion. I have W3 activated with redis which was the last recommendation of my hosting manager but I do not see that it improves at all. You can check if I have something wrong in the configuration of the theme that is causing those problems?
Regards
Hi,
We’d love to help you optimize your site but that is outside the scope of our support. I can give you just the main tips but every site is individual.
General site speed depends on many factors. Below you’ll find the main of them
1) Plugins. When you have multiple plugins installed and activated on your site, it can slow it down. So, please, keep enabled only those plugins that you really need for the correct functioning of your site and disable all the plugin that you don’t use. The more plugins you use, the slower it will be.
2) Caching. The most important part of optimizing your site is caching. Combine cached page with gzip compression to get better results. We recommend using W3 Total Cache. Read the beginners guide to setting up W3 Total Cache plugin https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/w3-total-cache-settings/
Also, a very good plugin is WP Rocket, but it’s paid.
3) Images. Use optimized images only otherwise you will have big images and slow loading time. Do not upload larger images than what is needed. When you use image editing tool like Photoshop don’t save images without using the option “Save For Web”.
There are different ways on how to compress images. Use special services or WordPress plugins to optimize your images for decreased loading times:
– tinypng.com
– Compressor.io
– Kraken.io
– Ewww Image Optimizer
– Smush Image Compression and Optimization plugin
4) Server/Hosting.
Sometimes slow speed can be a result of your hosting service. If you have checked the above items and the site is still slow, the most likely it is a server/hosting issue. Contact your host and discuss it with them. Because even with the default WP theme site speed could be slow.
In case you need professional help with site optimization you may contact WPKraken team, we don’t have optimization experts because that is outside the scope of our support.

Hung PD
