Hi, could you maybe have a look and tell me the footer on my home page and the footer on my Products page are not the same?
Why doesn’t the css apply to the random products or sale products widgets?
I would like the headings to all be like the ones on footer2 of my home page, but I also don’t want to write a css rule for every single thing I want to customize the whole time. Classes I created while creating static blocks does not seem to be applied.
If I had to inspect each element and edit the core css of the base classes, I might just overwrite something I styled differently somewhere else.
Also the buttons, is there a dynamic way of editing all my buttons’ classes, pseudo classes and focus classes without writing a css rule for every single button on the site? My preferred text color can’t be read on the default state of the buttons and the default state of the buttons does not go well with the site’s color pallet.
The crucial matter however is the footers of the general site pages and the woocommerce related site pages which are not the same.
Hello,
Please post different questions via different topics, to prevent misunderstanding.
1) Go to pages > Edit home and Shop page > Page layout settings > compare settings “Use custom footer for this page”. Set Sefault here http://prntscr.com/pua2cd for Shop page and check then.
2) About buttons, describe the desired result in more detail.
To find out classes, inspect code using inspector tools.
Open a web page in Google Chrome. Either:
-Select the Chrome menu at the top-right of your browser window, then select Tools > Developer Tools.
-Right-click on any page element and select Inspect Element.
The DevTools window will open at the bottom of your Chrome browser.

The settings are EXACTLY the same, set to default. On the HOME page, footer 1, footer 2 and the copyright footer displays – while set to default. It also displays exactly as I created it in static blocks. This is not true for my category pages or my product pages. I also only have options: Footer1 or footer2. Why are my home page and category pages footers not the same. There is NO option to edit the category page footers. The Product and category pages should apply the footers as set in the appearance -> widgets -> footer1, footer2 and footer copyright drop down menus if I am not mistaken. The question thus remains, why doesn’t it display the same on the home and products or category pages and why are my font colors not as I have defined in my static blocks? I had to resort to color: ##e56399 !important to get my colors to be correct.
It is a screenshot from your Shop page http://prntscr.com/pvgrdb I’ve changed the footer to default here – http://prntscr.com/pvgs4y You can compare footers on Home and Shop pages now.
Pages of product categories inherit the functionality of the shop, so have the same footer as the Shop page.
